About Kelley

Hi, I'm Kelley.

Finding the right therapist is about more than credentials — it's about finding someone you feel comfortable with. Therapy is a personal experience, and I hope this page gives you a better sense of who I am, what it's like to work together, and whether we might be a good fit.

Working Together

What it's like to
work with me.

I place a lot of importance on the therapeutic relationship. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and genuinely understood so you can show up as yourself without judgment.

My style is warm, genuine, and collaborative. I offer both compassionate support and practical guidance, meeting you where you are while gently supporting growth at a pace that feels right for you.

In our work together, we pay attention to both thoughts and emotions. We slow down to help you better understand what you're feeling — even when emotions feel confusing, intense, or hard to name. Over time, this can help you feel more connected to yourself and your internal experience.

Exploring Your Story

When it feels helpful, we may also explore earlier life experiences that have shaped how you think, feel, and relate today. Understanding where patterns come from can create space for greater clarity, self-compassion, and change in the present.

Building Real Tools

Psychoeducation is also a natural part of my work. I believe that understanding your emotions, nervous system, relationships, and patterns can be deeply empowering. My hope is that you leave therapy not only feeling supported, but also equipped with practical tools and a deeper sense of confidence in yourself.

Your Voice Matters

Therapy is a collaborative process. You have an active voice in what we focus on, and I encourage feedback and self-advocacy so our work together feels aligned with your needs and goals.

Why I Do This Work

The greatest
privilege.

One of the greatest privileges of being a therapist is walking alongside people during some of life's most vulnerable moments. I love witnessing clients gain insight, heal from painful experiences, and discover strengths they may not have recognized in themselves.

I believe meaningful change happens when people feel seen, supported, and accepted without judgment. Watching clients develop greater self-compassion, build confidence, and create lives that feel more aligned with their values is what makes this work so rewarding to me.

My Approach

Thoughtfully
integrated care.

I use a variety of evidence-based approaches — including EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), parts work, compassion-focused therapy, mindfulness, and strengths-based interventions — to personalize therapy for each client. Rather than relying on one method, I thoughtfully integrate these approaches based on your unique goals and needs.

Who I Work With

You might be
in the right place.

I enjoy working with adults experiencing anxiety, perfectionism, OCD, trauma, faith transitions, and life transitions. I also have a passion for supporting young adults as they navigate the unique challenges that come with this season of life, women, members of the D/deaf and hard-of-hearing community, and LGBTQ+ individuals seeking an affirming and supportive therapeutic space.

Beyond the Therapy Room

A little more
about me.

When I'm not in the office, you'll usually find me reading a good book, spending time with family and friends, playing with my adorable dog, or planning my next trip — traveling is a huge passion of mine.

I'm a beverage girlie and a lover of a daily sweet treat; some of my favorites include Swedish candy, a "dirty" soda, or a bowl of gelato (especially if it's lemon!). As a creative outlet, I also work as a family photographer. I love long summer evenings, swimming in the ocean, and being at the beach.

A few things I love...

  • Traveling and experiencing new places
  • Getting lost in a good book
  • Lemon-flavored anything
  • A daily sweet treat — dirty soda or ice cream
  • Family photography
  • Time with my fluffy dog
  • Beaches and long summer evenings

If you think we might be
a good fit...

I know choosing a therapist is an important decision, and I'm honored you're considering me. If you think we might be a good fit, I'd love to connect and answer any questions you have.
